Eastgate and Demidov join Pokerstars Pro team

Today Pokerstars will present WSOP 2008 main event winner Peter Eastgate and runner-up Ivan Demidov as new Pokerstars Pro team members.

Peter Eastgate won the WSOP 2008 main event and earned $9.152.416. After that WSOP he also won the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure ($343.000).

“I won’t be splashing out on expensive things or living a crazy life now that I’ve won. I’m thinking carefully about how to invest the money so that I make the right decision.”

Ivan Demidov became runner-up in the WSOP 2008 main event and won $5.808.595. He also became third during the WSOP Europe last year winning $608.995. “I was inspired to do well at this year’s WSOP after watching the success of fellow countryman and Team PokerStars Pro Alex Kravchenko – so to join the team and play alongside him is a real honour.” Demidovs name on Pokerstars will be Ivan Demidov.
